Little Amal: The Refugee Story Told by a 7Ft Puppet
Craig Leo’s experience with The Handspring Puppet Company goes far beyond “The War Horse” for which he is the associate director of puppetry.
Through his work in circus arts, dance, music, and theatre, he has trained literally hundreds of performers to understand the unique bond between performer and puppet.
His most recent activity includes a humanitarian artistic and consciousness raising initiative called “The Walk” with Handspring Puppet Company and Good Chance.
It is the story of Little Amal, a nine-year-old girl (11.5 feet tall puppet) who has walked 8000 kilometers, and so has Craig in support of refugees.
Join us for a discussion with a talented and compassionate soul.
